This is a superb painting by a well known artist nautical theme.  This artist is John J Holmes c1930s, the painting is in its original frame.  It is signed in the bottom right hand corner John J Holmes.  There is no foxing or stains, this is an excellent water colour by a well known artist.   sold

Here is the 3rd and last John J Holmes painting in my collection, this is a well defined painting of a Naval ship.  The quality is very good, no foxing or other marks to what I can see, in glass frame.  This is an excellent painting by John J Holmes.    sold
